Aarti Keeje Hanuman Lala Ki Meaning
The devotee invites everyone to offer aarti to Hanuman, the power of Raghunath (Ram) who crushes the wicked. Mountains tremble at his strength, and disease and misfortune dare not come near him.
The son of Anjani is the giver of great strength and the eternal helper of saints. Sent by Ram, he crossed the ocean without a moment's delay, burned Lanka, destroyed the demons and brought back news of Sita. When Lakshman lay unconscious, he brought the Sanjeevani herb and saved his life.
He entered the underworld, broke Yama's prison and uprooted the arms of Ahiravan. With his left arm he defeats demons and with his right he rescues the good. Gods, sages and humans wave the aarti; Mother Anjana herself performs it with a golden plate of camphor. Whoever sings it dwells in Vaikunth and attains the highest state. The last verse recalls how Raghurai destroyed Lanka and names Tulsidas as the one singing his glory.
