Om Jai Lakshmi Mata Meaning

The aarti praises Lakshmi, served day and night by Vishnu, Shiva and Brahma. She is Uma, Rama and Brahmani, the mother of the world, and the sun, moon and sage Narad sing her glory.

In her Durga form she is pure and gives happiness and wealth; whoever meditates on her gains riddhi, siddhi and riches. She dwells even in the netherworld, gives auspiciousness, reveals the power of karma and carries devotees across the ocean of worldly life.

Every virtue enters the home where she lives, everything becomes possible and the mind is free from fear. Without her there would be no yagya, no clothing and no food. Born from the ocean of milk, she is the temple of good qualities. Whoever sings her aarti is filled with joy and freed from sin.
