Shri Ramchandra Kripalu Bhajman Meaning
Tulsidas tells his own mind: worship the compassionate Shri Ramchandra, who removes the terrible fear of worldly existence. His eyes, face, hands and feet are like freshly bloomed red lotuses.
His beauty surpasses countless Kamadevas; he is lovely like a fresh dark-blue rain cloud, and his yellow garment shines like lightning. I bow to him, the pure husband of Janaki.
Worship the friend of the humble, the sun of the Raghu dynasty who destroys demon clans, the joy of Raghu's line, moon of Kosala and son of Dasharath. He wears a crown, earrings, tilak and ornaments, his arms reach his knees and he holds bow and arrow, victor over Khar and Dushan. Tulsidas prays that this Lord, who delights Shankar, Shesh and the sages, dwell in the lotus of his heart and destroy desire and every vice.
